Skydiver: “Don’t Tell Mom”
When I was in college I got it into my head that I wanted to learn to skydive. This was a stunning departure for someone who disliked flying as much as I did – never quite trusting the weight of an airplane to stay aloft. But the thought of floating through clouds tethered to a rainbow-colored parachute, drifting gently toward earth, landing softly in a meadow of wild flowers, seemed to be calling my name.
This excerpt is taken from the book “Dream Big”, where the artist makes a personal commentary on each of the paintings. To read the full commentaries, the book is available for purchase.

Reproductions in this the "Holding Her Hand" series are wrapped around 1.5" stretcher strips, like the original. They are ready to hang without framing.
